Information & Communication Technologies, ICT Consultant

Job Description:• Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects• Creation of work plans and task definitions under general direction• Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex and unique assignments including survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects• Responsible for ICT design and consulting for Data Centers, Healthcare Facilities, Government Facilities, Commercial Facilities, Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)• Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures• Work on detailed and/or routine design and/or consulting assignments• Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered• Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff• Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervisionRequirements:• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.• Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification or other active BICSI Certification. • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. • A security clearance is preferred but not required (potential/desire to obtain a security clearance is required). • Minimum 5 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), bolthires Project, bolthires 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and other ICT Specific Programs.• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Codes Standards and regulations including Permitting, State & Local Ordinances, IEEE – C2 Standard (National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA - 1910 Standards, TIA – Cabling Standards, TIA – Data Center Standards and BICSI – TDMM and other Manuals.
