Inside Sales Representative – Optomec Aerosol Jet (No Travel)

Description What you’ll do You’ll own inside sales activity supporting Optomec’s Aerosol Jet business—qualifying inbound leads, generating outbound pipeline, preparing quotes, and closing smaller deals (and/or feeding qualified opportunities to field/strategic sales as needed). You’ll work closely with Applications Engineering, Service, and Marketing to move opportunities through the funnel. Key responsibilities • Qualify inbound leads (web, events, partners) and convert to opportunities in CRM • Run outbound prospecting (email/phone/LinkedIn) into target accounts and installed base • Build and manage a pipeline: discovery, follow-up, next steps, and forecasting • Prepare quotes and proposals for consumables, and mid-market opportunities • Coordinate virtual product demos and customer calls (no on-site travel) • Track activity, stages, and notes in CRM; keep data clean and current • Support mid-market renewals, reorder workflows, and customer satisfaction handoffs • Collaborate with marketing and sales operations on campaigns, lead lists, and nurture campaigns What we offer • Base + commission (range: [insert]) • Benefits: Company paid health/dental/Disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan, PTO Requirements What we’re looking for • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience inside sales, customer success with selling, or technical sales • Comfort selling to technical buyers (engineering, manufacturing, R&D) • Strong phone/email skills and disciplined follow-up habits • Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce preferred) • Clear communication, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple deals at once Nice to have • Capital equipment / industrial / electronics manufacturing exposure • Experience with quoting tools / ERP systems • Familiarity with additive manufacturing, printed electronics, or automation markets Apply tot his job
