IT Quality Assurance Analyst III (Remote - NC, SC, NJ, PA, FL, MI, OH)
About the position The IT Quality Assurance Analyst III is responsible for performing independent quality checks and developing methods to measure the quality and performance of functional testing processes. This remote role involves coordinating testing and evaluation activities, providing assessments of programs, and creating QA testing strategies and documentation. The analyst collaborates with project teams to ensure effective testing timelines and serves as a mentor to less experienced teammates. Responsibilities • Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories and performs manual testing as needed. • Creates testing plans and test cases and loads them into the appropriate tools. • Participates in defect meetings and presents analysis on current and re-tested defects. • Sources, compiles, and interprets data for accuracy and efficiency. • Contributes to risk mitigation by thoroughly testing existing programs, policies, and procedures. • Assists in leading the QA testing teams by creating test plans and developing testing timelines. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization. • American Society for Quality certification(s) required.
