Job Summary We are looking for a Virtual Math teacher to provide high quality instruction and support to middle and high school students across PCI schools. The candidate must have sufficient knowledge of middle school CCSS and Integrate Math 1 content. PCI math teachers are expected to have high quality virtual pedogical skills, and an ability to provide engaging lessons, and student support when needed. Strong communication skills, with students, parents, and PCI staff are essential. Requirements / Qualifications Possess and maintain valid California Teaching Credential for level of instruction in Math English Learner authorization Experience and knowledge of the Common Core standards and standards based curriculum, behavior management techniques, record keeping, student assessment, planning for individual student learning needs, and child development Letter of Introduction Resume Letters of Recommendation (3) Transcripts (unofficial acceptable) TB clearance (upon hire) Comments and Other Information We are looking for a qualified math teacher to support our students within Pacific Charter Institute ranging from 6th-12th grade. This is virtual position Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit and be able to deliver differentiated instruction to a diverse group of students.
