As an Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering accurate, timely financial data that drives our clients’ success. You’ll be hands-on with bookkeeping, reporting, and financial analysis while working closely with our team to optimize processes and provide high-quality service. What You’ll Be Doing • Maintain accurate financial records for small businesses and non-profits, ensuring timeliness and precision. • Manage daily transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries) for our clients. • Prepare month-end closings, financial reports, and variance analyses to provide valuable insights to our clients. • Support client communication, ensuring clear, professional, and strategic financial guidance. • Work collaboratively within our team, sharing best practices and improving workflows. What Makes You a Great Fit • Accounting & Bookkeeping Expertise: Experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably working with small businesses, restaurants, and/or non-profits. • GAAP Knowledge: Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and best practices. • Strong Communicator: You can explain financial data clearly and work effectively with clients and the internal team. • Multi-Tasker & Problem-Solver: Ability to juggle multiple projects and proactively find solutions. • QuickBooks Online Mastery: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online. • Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: You can quickly learn new tools (experience with Asana, Microsoft Office, and ShareFile is a plus).
