Â Â Our partner, a dynamic manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their accounting team as a Staff Accountant. This is a direct-hire permanent position with the opportunity to start within a few weeks for the right candidate. We also offer a flexible work arrangement, allowing a hybrid of in-office and remote work for the suitable... candidate. Responsibilities Cost Reduction and Revenue Enhancement: Provide insightful recommendations to reduce costs and identify opportunities to enhance revenue. Accounts Payable And Receivable Oversight Manage and oversee the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. External Audit Support Prepare comprehensive documentation for External Auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process. Financial Analysis Analyze financial statements for any discrepancies and promptly alert the CFO if necessary. Audit Coordination Coordinate semi-annual audits and collaborate with the CFO in conducting audits. Monthly Reconciliation Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accurate reporting and maintain a well-organized ledger. Team Collaboration Delegate financial responsibilities effectively to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative working environment. Month-end And Year-end Support Assist the Sr. Accounting team with month-end and year-end deliverables, contributing to the overall success of the department. Experience Skills and Qualifications: 4-5 years of experience in a staff-level role in accounting operations. Regulatory Knowledge Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field is required. Certification CPA preferred but not required. Industry Experience Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
