Accounting Manager- Placement

We are seeking a Permanent Accounting Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our client's HVAC business. This candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, general ledgers, and forecasting activities to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong leadership and communication abilities, demonstrate independence, and excel at multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic setting. This is a role for someone who is looking to grow in a company and advance their career. Compensation: $90K - $100K, depending on experience + 10% bonus opportunity. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred. • Proven experience in accounting or financial management, with experience in the construction or HVAC industry preferred. • Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements. • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Sage Intacct. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines • Excellent communication and ownership abilities. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: • Oversee all accounting and financial processes within the business including general ledger management, accounts receivable and payable. • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting including month end closing processes. • Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for the site. • Analyze financial data to support business decision-making. • Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations. • Supervise AP accountant and provide guidance and training as needed to other staff regarding billing. • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management. • Identify and execute areas of opportunity to assist the company with growth. • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
