Indiana Tech is seeking Adjunct Faculty in our Fort Wayne area and online platform. The successful candidate will teach in-person, online, and blended classes at our Fort Wayne campus, primarily in the undergraduate program and certificate programs. Types of courses to be taught include Accounting Principles, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and / or Advanced Accounting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach one or more courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Conduct a one-hour live lecture (Tech Live/ Big Blue Button) each week of the course. Grade all assignments for the course (Canvas). Report final grades for all students (J1 Web). If required, collect assessment data for the course. Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for a diverse student population. Support efforts to increase access and success in higher education for underrepresented. students. Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology. Measures of Accomplishment Course goals and objectives are set by the dean and are defined in the teaching contract. Qualifications Masters degree in accounting or related field required with CPA, CMA, or other accounting certification. Doctorate in Accounting or related field preferred. Previous teaching experience (both face-to-face and in the online environment). Strong technological aptitude. Knowledge of Canvas/ Big Blue Button, Microsoft Office. Strong history of relational approach in the classroom. Experience Five years or more industry experience preferred. Professional experience and teaching experience (both face-to-face and online environment) preferred.
