Adjunct Instructor - Sciences

Berkeley College is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time instructors to teach Science in the Division of General Education. Salary Range: $3,105. - $3,375. per course/semester. Requirements for the position are: • Master’s degree or PhD in Science, Science Education, Social Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Health or Health Education, Nursing, Medicine, Psychology, or closely related discipline. Demonstrated success in teaching Science at an institution of higher education. • Demonstrated success in online course design and teaching. • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas. • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning. • Superb skills with student engagement and with online/onsite learning environment administration and management. For Onsite and Hybrid Sections: • A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ, if applicable. • Availability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend.
