Core Values  At DD, our core values underpin our culture and guide our actions: - Servant's Heart: Find joy in serving others, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. - Own It: Take full accountability for the care provided and actively contribute to the betterment of our practice. - Showtime: Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and energy to every patient encounter and interaction with colleagues. - DD Family: Foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, working as a cohesive team to achieve our common goal of exceptional patient care.  Perks - Weekly Pay  - Paid Training - Uniform Provided - Opportunities for Advancement - Employee Assistance Program (EAP)  - Employee Discount on Cosmetic Services and Products  Position Purpose  The purpose of this position is to provide holistic medical support to the Providers.  Role and Responsibilities  - Serves all Derick Dermatology providers with patient after visit contacts involving but not limited to the following tasks: pathology/laboratory results, scheduling follow-ups, prescription questions, records requests, coordination of care with outside providers, medical questions, provider questions, refill requests, prior authorizations, cosmetic questions etc.  - Monitors and tracks lesions that require tracking are followed to completion.  - Keeps outstanding or incomplete tasks below a certain level in the following systems: phone, voicemail, fax, contact system, internal calls, emails, EMR, internal pathology system, patient portal etc. - Maintains individual phone system metrics in Phone Queue and Answer Rates to meet team goal.  - Additional responsibilities as assigned.  Qualifications and Education Requirements - Official High School Transcripts, Diploma or Equivalency Certificate  - Knowledge of basic medical terminology  - Friendly, polite and professional. Clear communication skills.  - Proficient with an EMR system (Electronic Medical Records) ideally Nextech  - Medical Assisting background preferred Preferred Skills - Maintains excellent rapport with the providers  - Shows ability to multitask  - Shows ability to manage time wisely to complete all inbound/outbound tasks Additional Notes - Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm + 1 Saturday/month 6:45am - 12:30pm - This position is remote. All eligible candidates must reside in Illinois and live within 50-miles of a Derick Dermatology office, as training will require a minimum of 3+ days in-office.
