Position Title Affiliate Instructor - Education Specialties Employee Type Regular Office/Department Education Specialties (JMA) Work Environment Remote Job Type Part time Anticipated Start Date 05/15/2025 Benefits at Loyola If Temporary or Visiting, Estimated End Date Position Duties The Education Specialties Department is seeking talented per-course instructors for our masters and certificate programs in Educational Leadership, Learning Design & Technology, and School Counseling. Courses may be offered on our Evergreen Campus in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, courses may be offered in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. We seek experienced educators, school leaders, and school counselors with a passion for education who can combine real-world experience with theoretical understandings of the field. Specific course needs vary from semester to semester. Information about our program offerings can be found at Compensation Range: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 Successful candidates must have a master's degree or higher in a field related to the subject they wish to teach. Applicants should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a teacher, educational leader, or school counselor, or equivalent experience in a related field. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred. Prior experience with online education and specific tools used at Loyola, including Zoom and Moodle, also is preferred. Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
