AI & Data Analytics Intern

Join the Part-time AI & Data Analytics Internship at BMW Group, offering hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and technology integration. Your Role: Key responsibilities include: • Working closely with the Sr. Data Analyst and IT Project Manager to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and technology integration. • Utilizing advanced analytics to extract valuable insights from large datasets to help shape business strategies. • Assisting the Sr. Data Analyst with analytical projects, including data analysis, reporting new issues, and compiling PowerPoint presentations for management or product engineers. • Developing and creating dashboards by defining purpose and target audience, selecting appropriate tools and techniques, and designing clear, user-friendly layouts with relevant visualizations. • Assisting the IT Project Manager in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Technical Service systems, including developing and training machine learning models, analyzing data, and supporting AI research. • Evaluating the service process to improve efficiency and create improved forms of information delivery to customers. About You: The ideal candidate will possess the following: • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university. • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major). • Completion of at least 60 college credits or status as a rising Junior. • Field of study: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. • Ability to work part-time (20-29 hours/week). • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript. • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international students only). • Good communication skills. • Creative, self-driven, and able to work independently. Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly rate for Undergraduate students: $29.90. • Hourly rate for Graduate students: $36.80. • Paid Time Off in addition to company-paid holidays where eligible. • Hybrid work environment. • Intern Vehicle Lease Program.
