Title: AI/ML Data Architect/Lead

SUMMARY
• We are seeking a hands-on AI/ML Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
• This role requires a strong background in Azure data engineering, modern data architecture, and machine learning integration, with the ability to drive scalable solutions that improve business productivity and deliver measurable ROI.
• The ideal candidate will combine strategic architecture leadership with hands-on technical execution, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, client teams, and offshore development teams to build high-impact data solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement scalable AI/ML-enabled data architectures using the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Airflow, dbt, Python, and Azure Data Factory.
• Build and manage data platforms and warehouses using Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion frameworks from multiple sources to support analytics and AI workloads.
• Enable AI/ML model development and data preparation pipelines for enterprise use cases.
• Design semantic data models and analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement Medallion architecture and modern data modeling strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and execute a data architecture roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across pipelines and data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and collaborate with offshore teams on delivery.
• Optimize data performance, scalability, and reliability across the ecosystem.
• Drive adoption of modern AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and accelerate insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.
• Strong experience designing cloud-native data architectures in Azure.
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Functions, Logic Apps)
• Snowflake (data warehousing, schema design, optimization)
• Power BI / Microsoft Fabric (data modeling, semantic layers, dashboards)
• Airflow, dbt, Python for orchestration and data transformation
• SQL Server / T-SQL and database performance tuning
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their integration into data ecosystems.
• Experience working with REST APIs and data ingestion frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred
• Experience with Medallion Data Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Experience with Databricks, containerization, or modern AI tool ecosystems.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
• Azure, Snowflake, or related cloud/data certifications.
• Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale data environments.
