You should bring a portfolio of past wins (products you researched that successfully launched) and be able to prove your track record. I’m looking for a data-driven partner who can go beyond “ideas” and deliver validated opportunities with clear profit/margin calculations, competitive analysis, and launch viability. Scope & Deliverables Please deliver a concise, decision-ready package that includes: Discovery & Criteria Validation criteria you’ll use (demand, competition, price band, size/weight, seasonality, legal risk, differentiation potential). Toolset & data sources (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, Amazon data). Market Landscape (US) 2–3 viable categories/niches (short overview of TAM/trends, risk flags, brand dominance). Competitive snapshot for each niche (top competitors, BSR, review counts, pricing). Shortlist of Product Opportunities 3–5 product picks meeting agreed criteria. For each: Target price, sales volume, search volume, top keywords. Competitor density & review moat analysis. Profit model: COGS (incl. packaging), landed cost, FBA/referral fees, storage, expected net margin (%), ROI, and breakeven units. Sensitivity analysis (±10–15% on COGS and PPC ACoS). Differentiation ideas (features, bundles, materials, branding angles). Supplier signals: sample MOQ, rough quote (Alibaba links ok), lead times. Risk check: patent/trademark quick scan, compliance flags, oversize/hazmat notes. Seasonality & trend read (12–24 mo where possible). Keepa/Jungle Scout/H10 screenshots or exports supporting your case. Final Recommendation & Launch Readiness Rank the top 1–2 products with clear rationale. PPC seed keywords list (top 30–50). Basic launch budget estimate (inventory, samples, creative, PPC test). Next steps checklist for sourcing and listing. What “Great” Looks Like You’ve already helped clients launch profitable private label products on Amazon.com. You lean on data (not gut feel), explain tradeoffs, and show calculations clearly. You provide proof/portfolio (e.g., anonymized reports + ASINs you researched with outcomes). Your shortlist shows true differentiation opportunities (not me-too commodities). Required Experience 2–3+ years in Amazon private label product research (US marketplace). Hands-on with Helium 10 / Jungle Scout / Keepa and Amazon fee calculators.
