As part of our expansion into the Data Analytics vertical, we’re inviting analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals to join our Data Analytics Internship Cohort Role Overview As a Data Analytics Intern at HireShire, you will support our analytics and business intelligence teams in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to drive insights across our HR-tech ecosystem. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building dashboards, and generating reports that support decision-making in a fast-growing tech environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation for accurate analysis • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies • Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel • Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate structured data • Contribute to predictive modeling and statistical analysis under mentor guidance • Research and apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling • Document workflows, maintain datasets, and ensure data integrity for ongoing projects Requirements • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, IT, or related fields • Strong understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and visualization concepts • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL • Knowledge of Python (libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a remote setup Nice to Have (Bonus) • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker • Exposure to machine learning basics (scikit-learn, regression, clustering, etc.) • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for data storage/analysis • Participation in data hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or analytics clubs • Certifications like Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, or similar What You’ll Get • Real-time exposure to data analytics projects within a tech-driven product environment • Hands-on training in EDA, data visualization, and BI dashboarding • 1:1 mentorship from experienced data professionals & exclusive learning resources • Internship Certificate & Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion • Opportunity for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at HireShire or with our client organizations Hiring Process • Online Application • Resume + short write-up on your data analytics interests/projects • Analytics Aptitude Test • MCQ + case-based assessment on statistics, SQL, and data interpretation • Technical Interview • Live discussion around datasets, visualization, and problem-solving approaches • Managerial Interview • Assess motivation, culture fit, communication skills • Offer • Formal internship offer with stipend details & role expectations • Onboarding • Access provisioning, training roadmap & project kickoff Stipend Minimum USD$16/hr (in accordance with United States federal & state minimum wage guidelines for interns), with potential increment based on interview scores and skill assessment Apply tot his job
