Apple Device Management Consultant for Employee Device Setup

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced consultant to configure Apple Business Manager (ABM) for managing and securing an employee's iPhone and MacBook. The objective is to implement strict device controls, including custom DNS for website filtering, restricting changes to VPN settings, iCloud account, app installations, and limiting to a single unchangeable Google account. Key Responsibilities Enroll the iPhone and MacBook into Apple Business Manager. Configure Mobile Device Management (MDM) profiles to enforce: Persistent VPN settings that cannot be disabled. Locked iCloud account to prevent changes or logouts. Blocked app installations or updates without approval. Restriction to a single, unchangeable Google account. Custom DNS for content filtering (integrated via VPN or network settings). Ensure configurations are secure and resistant to user tampering. Provide clear documentation for maintaining or adjusting the setup. Test the setup to verify all restrictions are enforced correctly. Required Skills and Experience Expertise in Apple Business Manager (ABM) and MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune). Knowledge of Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP). Experience with custom DNS for filtering (e.g., OpenDNS, Pi-hole). Familiarity with VPN configurations on iOS and macOS. Proven track record with similar device management projects (include examples or references).
