Appliance Installer - Alabama

Opportunity to work with an industry leader providing appliances for multi-family construction projects. Work includes unloading delivery trucks, moving appliances to residential units, removal and disposal of all packaging materials, place appliances in proper locations, attaching cords/hoses/venting, testing, documentation, etc. If you feel confident about doing all the above, then join a winning team. Bring your smart phone, a hard hat, your tools, and reflector vest. We can provide you with the rest. This position is for work on a construction job. Safety is essential. You will be required to know OSHA safety requirements on a construction job site. Proper attire and correct PPE must be worn on the job site per OSHA requirements: • Work pants - no shorts • Short or long sleeved t shirts • Reflector vest • Hard hat • Protective eye wear and ear protection • Work boots • Work gloves to assist with gripping large boxes We are looking for people with good communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively with the team to problem solve and find solutions. Some heavy lifting will be required. Minimum physical requirements are as follows: • The ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds • The ability to respond quickly to sounds • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations • The ability to safely climb stairs while carrying 40 pounds • The ability to work in extreme weather - hot and cold • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly throughout the work day.
