Symmetrio is recruiting for its client, a leading provider of cutting-edge healthcare capital equipment and software solutions, to fill the role of Area Account Director. This is a high-impact sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth by selling high-dollar capital equipment and software solutions to hospitals, IDNs, and healthcare systems within the territories of Denver, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix . We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a demonstrated history of success in healthcare sales, excelling at building and nurturing strong relationships with healthcare executives and key stakeholders. This role offers a competitive OTE of $260,000 and requires approximately 35% travel. Responsibilities Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals and expand market share across the assigned territories. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, clinical decision-makers, and procurement teams at hospitals and health systems. Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and targeted outreach. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features, benefits, and ROI of healthcare capital equipment and software solutions. Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures to meet and exceed sales objectives. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay informed of healthcare trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and position the company as a market leader. Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory performance reports to leadership. Requirements Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record of success in selling high-dollar capital equipment and software solutions. Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement models. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned territory (up to 40%). Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
