```Job Overview``` We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller. As the Assistant Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. You will work closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory... requirements. The Assistant Controller works closely with the Corporate Controller and the accounting and finance teams on all facets of corporate accounting and reporting with direct responsibility for internal financial reporting, fixed assets, and other key aspects of the corporate accounting and reporting department. Specific duties will include, but not necessarily be limited to: - Managing corporate accounting functions including general ledger, periodic closing processes, and preparation of consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. - Developing and enforcing internal control guidelines and technical accounting policies on a global scale.- Collaborating with both internal and external auditors for financial audits and special projects. - Engaging in activities related to acquisitions, divestitures, and financial analyses related to assets and incentive plans.- Upholding the integrity of global accounting and financial reporting systems. - Striving for efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes and maintaining a balanced workload within the team.- Building strong relationships with finance personnel, leadership, and independent auditors. - Adapting to additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master?? degree or CPA is preferred). - 5-8 years of significant accounting experience, ideally in a publicly-traded company. - Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and expertise in establishing internal controls and developing accounting policies.- Proven experience in process improvements and effective collaboration across teams. - Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ethical conduct. - Strong communication skills, executive presence, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Great Plains required).
