As a member of NCAA Division III and the NESCAC, the department emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth, supported by outstanding coaching and state-of-the-art facilities.The Assistant Director of Athlete Services is responsible for operational activities related to athletic equipment and uniforms, such as budgeting (working with the Associate Athletic Director for Operations), purchasing, payment authorization, distribution and inventory management, and maintenance. The Assistant Director of Athlete Services oversees student and casual employees, and, in partnership with the Equipment Manager, is responsible for reliable and timely delivery of laundry to support Bowdoin's 31 varsity programs.
