Priority Screening: March 31, 2025Position Summary: SUNY Ulster County Community College, a two-year branch of the State University of New York located ninety miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Professor for Developmental Math in our STEM Department.This is a full-time probationary faculty appointment, starting August 18, 2025, to teach developmental and Quantway sequence mathematics for the SUNY Ulster Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Department. The assigned work year runs through spring graduation in May. The position will require an annual base teaching schedule of up to 30 contact hours.Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to do the following: Minimum Qualifications: And Preferred Qualifications Salary: An initial starting salary of $54,000 – 67,500 will be commensurate with education, training, and experience per academic year with an excellent benefits package.
