Assistant Professor of Accounting

As an Assistant Professor of Accounting, you will be responsible for teaching up to 15 pay hours per semester, developing and implementing curriculum, advising students, and participating in departmental and college-wide activities. Job Summary: The Assistant Professor of Accounting will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, developing and implementing curriculum, advising students, and participating in departmental and college-wide activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent teaching and communication skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key Responsibilities: Teach up to 15 pay hours per semester of assigned classes in accounting and business administration Develop and implement curriculum, including course outlines, syllabi, and assessment materials Advise students concerning academic achievement and learning goals Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee meetings and faculty development Maintain current professional standards and practices in accounting and education Requirements: Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 18 graduate credits in Accounting Two years of teaching experience, with a preference for experience in a post-secondary or college setting Five years of experience in an accounting-related field Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive learning environment Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative and inclusive college community We Encourage You to Apply!
