Assoc Director Network Performance

About the position Responsibilities • Accountable for network reliability and performance of SAP/TAPs. • Organize and ensure timely installation of SAP/TAP hardware and upgrades. • Manage the performance of the local wireless network. • Oversee the operation and maintenance of network technologies to meet customer demand. • Lead a team of Systems Engineers across multiple locations. • Train and develop team members for future roles. • Support capital and expense projects while meeting financial targets. • Identify and implement efficiency improvements through automation or process enhancements. • Interface with other departments to ensure compliance and growth schedules are met. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Six or more years of relevant work experience. • Four or more years of experience in wireless networks, telecommunications, or IP networks. • Valid driver's license. • Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree. • Two or more years of managerial/leadership experience. • Experience managing remote teams. • Service provider experience in MSC and/or Cell Operations. • Familiarity with SDN and NFV. • Knowledge of LTE/5G RAN and Core technologies. • Experience in financial analysis and process engineering.
