About the position Responsibilities • Define and prioritize the research roadmap in collaboration with brand and product team leaders. • Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports focused on specific work streams to ensure high-quality insights work. • Conduct hands-on research and storytelling during team growth stages as needed. • Oversee vendor partnerships to leverage quality research methods and manage research budgets efficiently. • Collaborate with Marketing Insights leads to build an integrated understanding of customers and market dynamics. • Forge relationships with adjacent insight, analytics, and intelligence teams to enhance market understanding and operational efficiencies. • Represent customer insights in leadership forums to inform decision-making and action planning. • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and direction to team members to ensure they meet expectations and drive business objectives. • Promote engagement with business senior leadership as consumer champions. Requirements • Eight or more years of relevant experience in marketing, customer experience, or user experience research. • Experience designing qualitative and quantitative research programs to address business needs. • Strong command of advanced quantitative methodologies such as maxdiff, conjoint, segmentation, and cluster analysis. • Experience with qualitative research methods including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnography. • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable insights. Nice-to-haves • Four or more years of experience managing a team of three or more people. • Experience providing insights for value proposition development. • Experience leveraging secondary data and trends to provide business context. • Ability to present insights in a compelling narrative to senior leadership. • Strong business acumen and understanding of the telecom industry.
