Automation Tester with 6+years in Healthcare domain

Position: Automation Tester with 6+years in Healthcare domain Domain: Healthcare Experience: 10 years only Location: Remote Must have: Healthcare Domain (Claims, EHR/EMR, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider Data, Benefits), EDI 837, 835, 834, 270/271, HL7, HIPAA, Selenium (Java), TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca, Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Karate, SQL, Automation Frameworks, UI Testing, API Testing, Backend Validation, JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, Agile/Scrum, SDLC, STLC, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in automation frameworks and a solid background in the Healthcare domain. Experience with EDI transactions (837, 835, 834, 270/271, etc.) will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, or Tosca. • Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, Dev, QA) to understand requirements and convert them into test cases. • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing. • Execute API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or Karate. • Validate backend data using SQL queries (joins, aggregates, constraints, transformations). • Work closely with business and development teams on Healthcare workflows including claims, member eligibility, provider data, benefits, and enrollment. • Track and manage defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM. • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and data privacy standards. Required Skills • 8+ years of experience in Automation Testing. • Strong experience with any automation tool/framework: • Selenium (Java) • TestNG / JUnit • Cypress / Playwright • Tosca (good to have) • Strong understanding of Healthcare domain workflows (Claims, EHR/EMR, Enrollment, Eligibility). • Good experience in API Testing & Automation(Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). • Strong SQL skills for backend validation. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment. • Excellent understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. Preferred / Added Advantage • Experience with EDI X12 transactions such as: • 837 (Claims) • 835 (Remittance) • 834 (Enrollment) • 270/271 (Eligibility) • Familiarity with HL7, HIPAA compliance, or Healthcare insurance domain. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
