Back Office Officer - Payments

Responsibilities: • Responsible for the daily payment transactions processing (fund in/out) and ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in a timely mannerIy • Depth understanding of international payments • Coordinating with the AML, Compliance, Customer Support, Accounting, and Sales Departments for back-office and payments related tasks • Communicating with the Company’s payment providers • Liaising with banks • Support related to banking transactions • Identifying signs of financial crime including money laundering and terrorist financing to identify high-risk transactions within the business portfolio • The employee might take additional responsibilities from time to time according to the overall company’s workload Requirements: • Professional experience in a financial institution (e.g. banking sector or fintech) is a plus. • Business-level proficiency in English • Experience with Zendesk is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. • Flexibility to work in a shift-based schedule. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment. • Experience in a payments department, including: • Processing payouts and pay-ins (deposits). • Reviewing and accepting client deposits. • Processing client withdrawals. • Reviewing customer documents for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance.
