We're looking for a talented and curious-minded Backend Engineer who can tackle solutions in various tech stacks and can troubleshoot the entirety of the solution. Developing with the end in mind, you will design and build digital solutions while following best practices. You should be comfortable working alongside a team of motivated engineers — as well as independently. Our backend developers have an immediate effect on our business success, as well as the success of our clients.

In this role, you will work remote and can live anywhere in the continental United States. Compensation is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for visa or work authorization sponsorship.
Your primary focus: The development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of services that process, store, and manage access to data, while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Working as a team, you will collaborate with front-end developers, fellow backend developers, product managers, QA analysts, and designers to deliver server-side applications while managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

- Diverse technology experience with 2-3 of the following:
- Web solution stacks such as Java/Spring, C#/ASP.Net, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Cake/PHP
- Backend API or enterprise microservices implemented with Java, Ruby, C# .Net Core
- ES Next or Typescript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular with either a focus on frontend client-side or server-side full stack with Node
- Serverless cloud-based solutions using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
- Native application development experience for iOS or Android
- Ability to integrate solutions with SQL and NoSQL databases
Minimum Qualifications to be considered:
- Proficient in one of the technologies listed above PLUS exposure to at least one other
- Ability to architect user authentication and authorization schemes between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle, programming techniques, and tools
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
