Other Jobs To Apply No other job posts for this day. Position Summary The Barkeep prepares and serves beverages to guests, oversees the stock of liquor, prepares ingredients, ice and bar supplies. The Barkeep contributes to the overall guest experience by consistently providing a positive interaction. When circumstances allow, the Barkeep may further provide an accurate entertaining education to interested guests. As a company representative to consumers, the importance of this position to the overall success of the organization family cannot be overstated. The ability to provide a professional, positive, memorable experience is imperative. Primary Job Responsibilities · Contributes to the development of the cocktail menu in collaboration with the Beverage Director and team. · Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff. Prepares and serves liquor, cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. · Ensures that ingredients and garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. · Ensures that speciality ice is prepared, cut and restocked. · Maintains the bar - keeping it clean, organized and in compliance with the health codes. · Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles. · Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served. · Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs. Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. Demonstrates and advocates for responsible alcohol consumption practices. Comply with all applicable laws and policies. · Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies. · Convey a positive, professional, appropriate image of the brand at all times. · Utilize unique vantage point to observe overall workflow efficiency and report observations to General Manager and Leadership for continuous improvement Qualifications Must be 21 or older to apply. High School diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of drink preparation or service required. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills required. Ideal candidates would be enthusiastic about continuous education and enjoy repetitive daily tasks.
