Benefits: Bonus based on performance Bid Coordinator / Project Bid Specialist (Remote) Company: AMG Tech Support Services Location: Remote (United States) Employment Type: Part-Time (Approximately 24 Hours Per Week) Compensation: $12.00/hour During a 30-Day Trial Period + Commission + Performance Bonuses Position Overview AMG Tech Support Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bid Coordinator to identify, evaluate, price, and submit proposals for IT field service opportunities on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of IT field services and can confidently evaluate project requirements, source qualified technicians, calculate project costs, discuss service opportunities with clients, and prepare competitive proposals that maximize company profitability while delivering exceptional customer service. This position plays a critical role in the continued growth of our company by securing profitable projects and building long-term client relationships throughout the United States. Responsibilities Review incoming client opportunities daily. Evaluate project scope and technical requirements. Research labor, travel, and material costs. Contact technicians to verify availability and negotiate pricing. Communicate with clients regarding project scope, scheduling, pricing, and service expectations. Prepare and submit competitive bids and project proposals. Track opportunities from proposal through award or rejection. Coordinate awarded projects with the Dispatch Department. Maintain accurate bid records, reports, and documentation. Collaborate with Operations to improve bid success rates, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience preparing bids, estimates, or project proposals. Experience in project coordination, estimating, account management, customer service, or business development. Knowledge of IT field services, networking, telecommunications, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, or structured cabling. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet applications. Preferred Technical Knowledge Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Computer hardware Networking Point-of-Sale (POS) systems Printers and peripherals Structured cabling Wireless networking (Wi-Fi) Telecommunications CCTV and access control Remote support tools Compensation 30-Day Trial Period During your first 30 days, you will be evaluated on your ability to: Learn our internal processes and workflows. Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable proposals. Communicate professionally with clients, technicians, and coworkers. Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail. Uphold The Hardy Standard in every interaction. Compensation during the trial period is $12.00 per hour. Candidates who successfully complete the trial period and demonstrate the professionalism, aptitude, and performance expected for this role will transition to the standard compensation plan. Example Monthly Earnings (Illustrative Only) A Bid Coordinator working approximately 24 hours per week who consistently meets performance goals may earn: Base Pay: $1,248/month Bid Performance Commission: $450 Monthly Performance Bonus: $250 Example Monthly Earnings: $1,948 Actual earnings will vary based on hours worked, bid volume, project profitability, and performance. There is no cap on commission or bonus opportunities.
