Key Responsibilities: Supporting Student Success Support classroom language instruction for Newcomers and bilingual students under the guidance of a certified teacher, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of our student population. Obtain and maintain certification for a paraprofessional through the Regional Office of Education, ensuring you are equipped with the latest methodologies and best practices in bilingual education. Perform instructional interventions under the guidance of a certified teacher to support bilingual students, helping to bridge any gaps in their understanding and foster a more inclusive learning environment. Work closely with the Director for Bilingual and Multicultural Education to ensure that your efforts are aligned with the district's broader goals for bilingual education.
