About the Role Our client, a specialized Recruitment Consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Biotech Recruitment Specialist to join their remote team, serving clients primarily in the Salt Lake City, Utah region. This role focuses on identifying and attracting top talent for the rapidly growing biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for scientific, research, and clinical roles, from understanding complex technical requirements to onboarding highly skilled professionals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the life sciences, excellent sourcing skills, and a passion for connecting scientific talent with groundbreaking companies. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries to define recruitment needs and candidate profiles. Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates for scientific roles (e.g., Research Scientists, Lab Technicians, Clinical Research Associates, Process Engineers). Utilize specialized recruitment tools, scientific networks, and Boolean search techniques to source niche talent. Conduct in-depth screening interviews and technical assessments to evaluate candidates' scientific expertise, experience, and cultural alignment. Manage the full recruitment process, from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates within the life sciences domain. Ensure a consistently positive and professional candidate experience. Stay current with advancements in biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, and relevant industry trends. Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment progress using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Requirements Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology) or Human Resources/Business. Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. Proven ability to source and recruit for specialized scientific and technical roles. Strong understanding of scientific terminology, research methodologies, and industry-specific qualifications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with ATS platforms and advanced sourcing tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Passion for the life sciences industry and talent acquisition.
