General Statement of Duties This position is for the 2025-26 school year. This vacancy is open until filled. Temporary Board Substitute Teacher - Virtual Reading Essential Duties Plan instructional activities for students Assess and maintain records of students' progress Utilize a variety of instructional strategies in order to promote student success. Support the curriculum, academic and social needs of children. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on Education and VA Teaching license preferred, but Bachelor's Degree is required. This position is unique in that the selected candidate teaches multi-sensory reading virtually to students from across the district The selected candidate must possess Orton-Gillingham training and experience providing virtual instruction.
