We’re currently looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and help keep our financial records accurate and up to date.
About the Role
The Junior Bookkeeper plays a key role in supporting the financial health of our business. This position is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, billing, and vendor payments
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly
- Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense tracking
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and digital files
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist the CPA and finance team in preparing financial reports and audits
- Monitor transactions for accuracy and report any discrepancies
Requirements
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and accounting software
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Bonus: Experience with e-commerce or retail bookkeeping
