The total rewards package for this role includes a competitive salary.   We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and AR/AP Assistant to support our small business team. This is a part-time, fully remote position that requires approximately 5-10 hours of work per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities...  Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.  Prepare financial statements and reports for CPA review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.  Assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and vendor management.  Collaborate with our CPA to provide them with the necessary documentation and information for tax preparation and financial reporting.  Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.  Provide insights and recommendations to the owner based on periodic financial analysis.  Support the owner and other team members with financial tasks as needed. Requirements:  Must live local to OC, LA, IE to be able to meet periodically  Proven experience in bookkeeping and AR/AP functions, preferably in a small business setting.  Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.  Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and other relevant tools.  Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.  Reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work.
