Bookkeeper and Tax Help Needed For Growing Heat Pump Company

Just Heat Pumps is a growing heat pump HVAC installer in Denver Metro looking to hire a rock star accounting and bookkeeping manager. We design and install high tech heating and cooling solutions reducing air pollution, and provide homeowners with the best heat pump systems available. To help our mission, we are looking for responsible, growth minded, quick learning, part time (initially) accountant and bookkeeper to manage and develop our operations and accounting systems. If this is you, your work will be a few hours per month to start, and will increase as we grow. This position is remote and all the tasks can be completed at any time or day of the week. Tasks must be completed on time. Duties & Responsibilities Part of your responsibilities will be helping us by researching, organizing, and building a system to keep track and submit all of the individual Colorado state, city, and county jurisdiction sales and use taxes required throughout the year. This is a great position for anyone who: -Is interested in becoming an expert accountant, bookkeeper, and to help with business operations. -Is willing to learn or is an expert in popular accounting software - you will manage, be responsible for, and give guidance on our bookkeeping and accounting and proper software setup and workflow. -Has an interest in learning, researching, and processing sales and use taxes within Colorado. -Is excited about helping companies grow and stay organized, sometimes in a chaotic and fast-changing environment.
