Direct, manage, and maintain the hospital division financial planning activities, budget development, and associated reporting to Seattle Children's leadership and management staff to facilitate meeting or exceeding financial performance, organizational objectives and long-term strategy. Plan, implement and evaluate business and financial operations for Hospital Division teams, including operating and capital budgeting, staffing, workforce and volume forecasting, and ensuring that appropriate facilities and resources are available and efficiently utilized to support patient care delivery. Collaborate with SVPs, VPs, Division leaders, and external institutional peers to develop and implement appropriate staffing and other financial benchmarks. Provide in-depth knowledge and data support to clinic leaders to analyze staffing, non-labor expenditure, and improve cost to deliver effective patient care. Required Education and Experience MBA, MHA or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of (5) five years experience supporting health care finance and business systems. Extensive experience in budget development and performance measurement, financial/ statistical analysis, business case development and pro-forma statements, and healthcare government reporting. Demonstrated experience leading projects, teams, and process and/or systems improvements. Experience in analyzing and interpreting clinical or financial data to develop, and integrate information into presentations and visual systems for decision making. Expert ability to develop data tools, conduct analysis and present actionable information. Extensive experience using healthcare decision support systems and financial applications. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred Experience in managing complex data systems with analysis responsibilities. Experience using benchmarking data and tools. Experience supporting inpatient care, ambulatory or provider practice services. Revenue cycle experience and understanding, including Charge Description Master. Epic Electronic Health Record experience and understanding. Experience with healthcare cost accounting principles and tools. Compensation Range $126,805.00 - $190,207.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
