Business Tax Associate - Remote - 3+ Yrs Experience Required

About the position The Business Tax Associate position at Intuit is a remote, seasonal role focused on providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers using TurboTax Business products. The associate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws. This role is integral to advancing Intuit's mission of Powering Prosperity Around the World by delivering high-quality customer interactions and tax-related support. Responsibilities • Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. , • Provide expert guidance and explanations of tax and technical terms to customers. , • Assist TurboTax Business customers with tax advice and full-service business return preparation. , • Utilize video communications software to interact with customers professionally. , • Document customer interactions and ensure high-quality customer experiences. , • Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed. Requirements • 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season. , • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per tax year. , • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns. , • Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software. , • Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. , • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Nice-to-haves • Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation. , • Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers. , • Possession of any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
