CERTIFIED Part-Time Billing Specialist (Speech & Occupational Therapy Claims) Location: Remote — Oregon residents only Compensation: Up to $26/hour with Quarterly Performance Bonuses Hours: 25/week | Must overlap with M–F, 9am–5pm PST (at least 2 hrs/day) About the Role We are a pediatric therapy practice hiring a Certified Billing Specialist to support our speech and occupational therapy billing operations. This role is fully remote but requires candidates who are honest, skilled, self-motivated, and thrive in a collaborative environment. What You’ll Do • Process patient invoices and follow up on outstanding balances • Work A/R claims and insurance denials (30, 60, 90+ days) • Collaborate with team members on A/R • Maintain documentation in IntakeQ and Trizetto • Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to track claims, trends, and weekly payment reports • Maintain a ≤2% denial rate and contribute to positive client billing experience • Work exclusively for us during logged hours (tracked with Time Doctor) Who We’re Looking For ✅ Certified (CPB, CMRS, or CCA) ✅ At least 2 years billing experience in speech/OT ✅ Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, filters, report creation) ✅ 2+ years using Trizetto ✅ Strong communicator and team player ✅ Tech-savvy, organized, and independently motivated Success in this position requires a positive and proactive attitude, receptiveness to feedback, and the ability to stay focused without close oversight.
