Position: Chemistry Expert (PhD)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $65–$85/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
• Create and evaluate complex chemistry problems across organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry.
• Review AI-generated chemistry outputs for scientific accuracy, chemical reasoning, and domain relevance.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback on problem sets, mechanisms, and solutions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to refine and improve model performance.
• Ensure academic rigor, consistency, and scientific precision in all chemistry content used for AI training and evaluation.
Requirements
• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Deep subject‑matter expertise across core chemistry disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear, structured chemistry content suitable for AI systems.
• Prior teaching, research, or publication experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
