We’re looking for a hands-on, visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our client into its next chapter. You’ll take ownership of a solid and growing codebase, scale a talented engineering team, and establish best-in-class practices for speed, reliability, and innovation—especially as we deepen our investments in AI. This is a rare opportunity to lead both strategy and execution at a moment of real momentum. As CTO, you’ll: Lead and grow a distributed engineering team (currently 5 developers, mostly in LatAm) Own architecture and technical decision-making across our stack Drive a clear, forward-looking technical vision, especially around AI chat solutions and AI-assisted development workflows Improve dev velocity and reliability by strengthening QA, CI/CD, and operational processes Collaborate closely with Product and Design to turn customer needs into beautifully executed software Report directly to the CEO and work alongside the CPO to shape strategy and roadmap Our Stack Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Backend: Spring Boot (Java Kotlin) Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres AI: OpenAI + evolving AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Claude, and beyond) Requirements 7 -15 years of software engineering working experience Previous experience as a Software Architect or Team lead in a start-up environment or corporate. Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams in a startup or growth-stage environment Strong architectural experience across full-stack platforms, especially cloud-native, containerized deployments Deep comfort with modern dev practices: CI/CD, test automation, incident response, observability, etc. Experience integrating or building advanced AI/ML systems (especially LLMs or conversational agents) Ability to build remote-first team culture: clear communication, ownership, mentorship, and velocity A product-oriented mindset—comfortable working cross-functionally to find scrappy, elegant solutions Benefits Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends) Vacation: 10 business days a year Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day) Parental Leave Health Care Reimbursement Active Lifestyle Reimbursement Quarterly Home Office Reimbursement Payroll Deduction Purchase Plans Longevity Bonus Continuous Learning Bonus Access to Training and Professional Development Platforms Did we mention it's REMOTE?!!
