In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering our brand and marketing messages effectively to our targeted audience, with a particular focus on social media platforms. Your responsibilities will include translating diverse social media content from English into both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy. The main responsibilities of the position include: Translate and localize social media posts, captions and campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand’s tone, voice, and messaging. Adapt video scripts, promotional materials and visual content, ensuring they are culturally engaging and suitable for the intended channels. Translate press releases, emails, website content, and promotional materials, tailoring language to suit linguistic and cultural nuances of the target market. Proofread translations for grammatical and typographical errors to maintain a high standard of quality. Collaborate with the diverse team to align translations with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Stay updated on trends in social media and linguistic preferences of target audiences. Main requirements: Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Marketing, Communications, or any other related field At least 3 years of experience in translation is a must. Experience within the financial services industry will be considered an advantage. Excellent translation skills in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese and fluency in English. Strong understanding of cultural nuances and trends in the target audience. Passion for social marketing and a deep understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to XiaoHongShu, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. Highly knowledgeable about social media trends and skilled in tailoring content to align with the tone, style, and audience expectations of various platforms. Excellent communication and time management skills. Keen eye for detail and passion for delivering high-quality work.
