All drivers are Slack employees with extensive training in HAZMAT transporting and dispensing of a wide variety of bulk tankers, as well as packaged dry and liquid materials. Job Summary Company Driver (W2, Solo) Dry Van and Tanker trailer Semi local $800 - $1,200 total weekly avg. pay 700 - 1,700 avg. miles per week 70% Driver Load/Unload Home Time 5 days on, 2 days off Home every weekend Benefits Medical, Dental, Life, Disability and 401K Paid holidays Paid vacation Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Stacking and sorting delivered cargo. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
