Clinician II/III, Region 1 Mobile Crisis -Rappahannock Area

REQ #: 93100019 GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Mobile Crisis Clinician II/III will be located in the catchment area listed above and will provide mobile crisis response to catchment area homes, and community settings. Mobile crisis response will include assessing crisis situations and providing de-escalation and support for the consumer in crisis. The Clinician II/III will have ongoing support and clinical guidance from their supervisor. This position serves the assigned catchment area and adjacent Region 1 localities. It will require the Clinician II/III to work from home, in the field, and at Community Services Board offices within the catchment area. MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Provide immediate crisis supports in home and community settings support youth and adults with mental health, substance use, and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities. 2. Responds between 1-2 hours to crisis episodes. 3. Assist team members in the field. 4. Complete clinical assessments in the field, as well as assisting QMHP-level teammates with virtual clinical assessments. 5. Documents all services and results in the consumer’s electronic health record by established deadlines. 6. Documents progress and maintains a permanent record of the consumer’s activity according to established methods and procedures. 7. Oversees insurance and record keeping. 8. Communicates effectively and efficiently with Mobile Crisis Program Managers. 9. Collaborates with Region 1 CSBs, community partners/stakeholders, and any other parties who are part of consumer’s treatment/support team. 10. Suggests referrals to appropriate community services. 11. Completes other duties and projects as assigned.
