Job Title: Cloud Operations Analyst Location: Remote (Anywhere in US) Key Responsibilities Monitor, manage, and support cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) . Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD . Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (IaC). Deploy and manage Docker containers and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes . Assist in application deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring across staging and production environments. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and deployment practices. Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule to address incidents and outages. Required Skills & Qualifications 2 4 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or related roles. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms : AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform . Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , GitLab CI/CD , or similar. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform . Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Nice to Have Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) or Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer). Experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio), Helm, or Kubernetes Operators. Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers).
