Position: Cloud Solution Architects - Remote / Telecommute
Job Description
• The Cloud Solution Architect will define and lead cloud architecture and migration strategies, translating business and technical requirements into scalable and secure target-state designs.
• This role involves end-to-end cloud solution architecture, data and application migration planning, networking design, security enforcement, and disaster recovery strategy execution to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and own cloud architecture and migration strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design end-to-end cloud solutions including compute, storage, networking, security, and identity components.
• Lead data and application migration planning, including dependency mapping and sequencing.
• Design and validate hybrid networking architectures including connectivity, segmentation, routing, and traffic management.
• Architect and enforce cloud security models aligned with enterprise policies and compliance standards.
• Define and support Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including resiliency, high availability, and recovery objectives.
• Plan and execute migration cutover strategies ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Provide architecture leadership during on-site client engagements.
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture design and migration strategy development.
• Experience with target-state architecture modeling and cloud adoption frameworks.
• Deep understanding of hybrid connectivity, network segmentation, and cloud security controls.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise data and application migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery design, testing, and cutover planning.
• Understanding of enterprise cloud operating models and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience in data center exit or large-scale transformation programs.
Education And Experience
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or Senior Cloud Architect in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Strong background supporting large-scale cloud modernization initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
