Job Title: Cobol Programmer – Advanced (Job ID: 10984)
Work Location: Columbia, South Carolina (100% Remote)
Duration: 9 Months (Possible Extension)

Work Authorization: Candidate must reside in the Continental US and be comfortable working EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Medicaid Services MMIS and MEDS teams for application enhancements and maintenance
• Perform coding changes in COBOL and ADS programs using IDMS Network and Relational Databases
• Work with technical design specifications and business requirements
• Debug, unit test, and integration test application changes
• Support QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and External Testing activities
• Work closely with development teams, operational staff, QA teams, and customers
• Document application inputs, outputs, and code changes for knowledge transfer
• Participate in rotational on-call production support activities
• Communicate effectively with Clemson staff and contracted teams

• 10+ years of JCL experience
• 10+ years of IDMS/Network experience
• 10+ years of DB2 experience
• 7+ years of CA-ADS experience
• 5+ years of Changeman experience

• 5+ years of VSAM experience
