Mynt Systems Commercial Solar Electrician
Mynt Systems Commercial Solar Electrician is to perform solar & battery installations on PV Projects and/or energy construction upgrades for buildings throughout California. Buildings will include commercial office towers, low-rise commercial buildings, hotels, retail, grocery, and school districts. This is a traveling position to various counties in California.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Working on commercial rooftops as well as solar carports and ground mounted systems
• Assistant in mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
• Assembly of mounting hardware
• Following layout of solar modules given to you by management team
• Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, methodology and safety
• Ability to read plan sets and single line diagrams
• Interconnections and shutdowns/tie-ins
• Responsible for running projects from handoff to final inspection while meeting scheduled deadlines allotted by management
• Ability to make material lists, including but not limited to AC/DC equipment needed
• Responsible to communicate verbal and written communication in email
• Able to run projects from hand off to final inspection within scheduled time
• Must show efficient communication skills both verbally and in written form
Skills and Qualifications
• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: 3-5 years of solar/electrical installation experience
• Experience: 1-2 years of PG&E interconnection and shutdown/tie-in experience
• Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical and structural systems, blueprints and spec sheets
• Must hold and maintain a valid Driver's License and have a personal vehicle to travel between job sites – no use of motorcycles or scooters during business hours
• Ability to be coached and mentored
Preferred Qualifications
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience in roofing or construction
• Experience leading a team/crew
• Working experience with conduit/bending conduit
• Experience working with batteries
• Strong understanding of NEC codes, especially with commercial PV installations
• Proficient in the installation of grid-tied and micro inverter applications
• Commercial Electrical Journeyman's License
• NABCEP Certification

Pay based on experience and qualifications. Salary Description $35.00 - $45.00
