About the Role We are looking for Corporate Finance / Investment Banking Professionals to contribute to a cutting-edge research project with one of the world’s leading AI labs. This fully remote, flexible role is ideal for finance professionals looking to apply their Investment Banking experience to the future of AI, alongside their current professional or academic commitments. What We’re Looking For Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Investment Banking or related Corporate Finance (M&A, ECM, DCM, Restructuring) End-to-end deal process exposure (from pitch to execution) Strong financial modelling and valuation skills in Excel High attention to detail, with excellent summarisation and written communication skills Native or near-native fluency in English (spoken and written) Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment A genuine interest in AI and automation Key Responsibilities Break down and summarise Investment Banking workflows (pitchbooks, models, diligence) Label and annotate financial data points and workflows for training LLMs Build, adapt, and annotate financial models to highlight key logic Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refine annotation guidelines What We Offer Competitive compensation ($50-250 per hour) based on experience and performance Remote, asynchronous, flexible work schedule The opportunity to help shape the next generation of AI in finance Work alongside a global network of ex-investment bankers and AI researchers Selection Process Application Review (CV) Skill-based test Trial annotation task Mentis AI and project-specific onboarding About Mentis AI At Mentis AI, we’re building the next generation of AI systems grounded in real-world financial expertise.
