About the position
Responsibilities
• Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to understand position requirements and update job descriptions as needed.
• Screen resumes and evaluate applicants for suitability.
• Schedule and conduct phone interviews with candidates.
• Conduct competency behavioral-based interviews to assess candidates.
• Provide status updates to HR and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Conduct reference checks and assist with background check processes.
• Collect interview feedback and document candidate assessments during the interview process.
• Partner with agencies and job board representatives to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Provide expertise in branding and attracting high-performing talent to meet strategic business needs.
• Guide and educate hiring managers on hiring processes and best practices.
• Develop knowledge of ICU Medical's culture, products, and the medical device industry.
• Ensure candidates experience a quality recruiting and interview process.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-achieving company culture.
• Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of experience in HR performing staffing responsibilities.
• Proficiency with recruitment systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of employment laws and government regulations related to talent acquisition processes.
• Strong project management and complex problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
• International experience is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience for delivering recruiting-related training programs.
