About the position As a Cost Analyst at our high-growth manufacturing company, you will take full ownership of the cost accounting function, playing a crucial role in supporting various teams across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to different aspects of the business while working closely with the CFO and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the cost accounting system, ensuring that financial performance is scrutinized and deviations are identified and corrected promptly. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you evaluate intricate data and analytics from consolidated sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance to facilitate informed decision-making. In this role, you will generate timely and error-free plant reports, adhering to established business and departmental standards. It is essential that these reports comply with both internal and external guidelines and policies. You will also be tasked with uncovering opportunities for enhancing cost efficiency, which is vital for the company's growth and sustainability. Additionally, you will input various inventory and cost-related journal entries during the monthly closing procedures in the United States, and participate in the formulation of benchmarks for material, labor, and overhead costs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. , Strong cost and manufacturing experience. , Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. , Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). , Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
